Papa Bue's Viking Jazz Band
has more than 50 years, Denmark's most famous jazz band and
gained broad public popularity and record sales in million
copies.
Songs like "Nyboder price,"
"Everybody Loves Saturday Night," "Sitting in a tavern" and
the theme from the Olsen Gang films are today "Danish
evergreens".
At the same time saw Papa
Bue remarkable success in the foreign countries where they
toured in 30 countries and include was presented with the
keys of the city in the birthplace of jazz by none other
than the mayor.
Now hailed the legendary bandleader with a concert, where
the orchestra is composed of musicians who played with Arne
Bue until he could not anymore, and musicians who at times
played with him
Erik "Krølle" Andersen has assembled a band of musicians who
were associated with PAPA BUE together to commemorate his
lovely music in
