Guido Paevatalu had his debut at the Royal Danish Theatre in 1982.

Principal performances at the Royal Danish Theatre:
Mozart performances as the Count in Le nozze di Figaro, Guglielmo in Così fan tutte, the title role in Don Giovanni and Papageno in Die Zauberflöte.
Italian roles, such as the title role in Verdi’s Rigoletto, Anckarström in Verdi’s Un ballo in maschera, Posa in Verdi’s Don Carlo, Germont in Verdi’s La Traviata, Silvio in Leoncavallo’s I pagliacci, Sharpless in Puccini’s Madama Butterfly, the roles of Figaro and Don Bartolo in Rossini’s Il barbiere di Siviglia and Ford in Verdi’s Falstaff.
Wagner performances as Wolfram in Tannhäuser, Beckmesser in Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg and Gunther in Die Götterdämmerung.
Furthermore, roles in operas by Tchaikovsky, Johann Strauss, Wagner, Mussorgsky, Richard Strauss and Britten.

Other assignments:
Guido Paevatalu has appeared in several productions by Danish public broadcasting, DR-TV, such as Carl Nielsen’s Maskarade, Heise’s Drot og Marsk and Johann Strauss’ Die Fledermaus.

Guido Paevatalu has performed Dandini in Rossini’s La Cenerentola at the Danish National Opera.

Additionally, Guido Paevatalu has performed at concerts with numerous orchestras in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Estonia, Russia, Austria, Holland, France, Hungary and Germany.

Guido Paevatalu has performed at the Mozart Festival in Vienna, the Savonlinna Festival in Finland, the Bergen Festivals as well as festivals in Leipzig, Houston, Oklahoma, and Munich and at Opera Ireland.

Recordings: Featured on several CD productions, such as Mussorgsky’s Boris Godunov with Dmitrij Kitajenko, Kunzen’s Holger Danske with Thomas Dausgaard, Gade’s The Elfin Hill and du Puy’s Undom og Galskab with Michael Schønwandt. Additionally, he has released a solo CD with Danish Romances.
