was created by Bent Solhof for more than 40 years ago.
In 2014 was Prop & Berta relaunched as puppetry of "The New Puppet Theatre"
in cooperation with Egmont Kids Media.
Prop & Berta comes alive in a context where the classic stories come to life by adding the classic puppet digital communication tools and visual effects into the genre. This gives a performance that mixes presence at story time and puppet shows, with the alluring and quick at moving-image media.

Based on her children's books about Prop & Berta has Bent Solhof for 40 years taken around with the characters to entertain children in the very Danish land.
But now the Copenhagen author and educator thanks and left his life's work to Niels Ingolf Rasmussen, owner of the New Puppet Theatre in Brønderslev, who along with his partner, George Storebjerg, will breathe new life into the headstrong, resourceful and cunning fat man , Polypropylene, and his heartwarming speaking cow Berta.
- When Bent Solhof went around with Prop & Berta, he entertained the kids on his very personal and unique way, and that will never get anything good out of copying him, says Niels Ingolf Rasmussen, who therefore has renewed the universe of children in the New Puppet Theatre.
- I takes the classic puppet theater into the 21st century by taking a bit of the digital world into the puppet theater - like movies, still images and other visual effects, says the idea man.

  Digital effects
And him know, there is something else puppetry globally considered working
	with digital effects in puppetry.
  - In the theater is located a large TV screen, and when we eg. be out in the
woods, there is a picture of a real forest. And the characters going in and
out of the screen, so they are both pop off the screen and in movies that
	appear as video clips.
	- All to create more drama, more vivid set design and a more vivid picture
of the environment in which the show takes place in, explains Niels Ingolf
	Rasmussen.
He stresses, however, that for him are clear limits to how much the film must
	fill in the performances.
	- Children must never feel that they are watching a video. Because this is a
live puppet show, says children's entertainment retailer.
In about 40 years, Niels Ingolf Rasmussen worked with theater, magic and music, first on leisure base and the past 15 years full-time.
  Friendship anatomy
Many know him as the jester Bugislaw and Safari Simon in Aalborg Zoo, while
a number of years also was Pierrot in Karolinelund in Aalborg, where he
	worked on traditional puppet theater.
When children meet Prop & Berta in the New Puppet Theatre, believes the holder that the little fat man and his cow still has a current voice and attraction for children today that are both reflected in the characters' characters and hopefully learn a little about friendship anatomy.
In the performances contribute, also a witch, a police chief and tyttebøvserne that are small woodland creatures who can conjure and fulfill desires.
- Solhofs stories about Prop & Berta are extremely good and brilliant, I think. They break boundaries, while retaining classic virtues of adventure, says Niels Ingolf.
  Dialogue is important
Over the years, the stories from the books been told in particular
television, and in 2001, the animated puppet film Prop premiere with Per Fly
	as a director.
But not least, there released a number of CDs with Bent Solhofs music and
	lyrics.
	- In our performances play music also has a very important role, and the
children sing well with because they know the songs.
- Dialogue with our audience is at all important to us, so the dolls caters course greatly to the children, says theater manager.
So far, the first performance of "Berta can speak" rolled out on the road to meeting the target audience, the 4-9 year olds in day care centers, libraries and example also in malls.
