Mariann Sindberg sings and plays piano with classically trained skill and jazz honed freedom. She can play classical pieces at wedding, croon love songs at anniversaries, and belt out the blues at birthday parties. She's played and sung all over the United States and is available as a solo performer and with larger jazz and pop groups. Mariann also plays a variety of jazz inflected original humourous tunes, some of which have appeared on network t.v and in video games. She can even compose a tune for your special event with enough notice, or she can play favorite requests. She plays and sings jazz tunes from the twenties to the present, and can also do an evening of ragtime or light classical favorites, depending on your needs. Mariann's performances are professional, enjoyable, versatile, and affordable.

Phenomenal job! Exceeded expectations. We were expecting a: sax, keyboard, bass guitar, drums, and vocalist. The talents were multi-faceted to include: flute, acoustical guitar, as well as a wide range of music. We got so many complements on the band and they really set the tone for the evening. The music was perfect- great sound, obviously practiced, and willing to accomodate any request if possible. Mariann and her group were GREAT!!! I hired her to perform at my parent's 50th wedding anniversary. Mariann is a "must have" for any party or social event that needs a touch of sophistication to enhance the atmosphere. She played at our rehearsal dinner, which she was happy to travel 3 hours outside of Austin to come to. Her ability to sing and play piano is nothing short of phenominal; you will be blown away by her soothing sounds. Mariann was also exteremely accomodating to our requests of songs by our favorite artists, like Diana Krall, Frank Sinatra, Begee Adaire, and Tony Bennett. And she was even able to play several requests by our guests right on the spot because she has such a vast repertoire of musical knowledge. We live in New York and made most of our arrangements via the internet. After finding Mariann, we had a nice email correspondence. She was always prompt, curteous and accomodating. I met with her the day before the wedding to review music choices. You can't stump her! She arrived early, set up and ready to go. She transitioned beautifully through the meal from classical to our favorites, both piano solo and vocals. She has a great voice, a great attitude and looked lovely as well. Mariann was awesome. She was totally willing to work with a couple of our musician friends to do a some songs during the wedding ceremony. And they turned out great!
